Philips Lifeline
Any Cuyahoga Heights senior citizen or anyone needing assistance is eligible for the Philips Lifeline emergency monitoring system that initiates help with the touch of a button, or a pendant worn around the neck.  It offers some extra security to our seniors who live alone.  If you are interested in participating in this program, please contact Captain Patrick Koran at the Cuyahoga Heights Fire Department at 641-6799.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 


 

NEWS FROM THE FIRE DEPARTMENT

SUPPORT AND SPECIAL SERVICES

The Fire Department provides a large number of other services that are not as visible as Fire and Rescue vehicles responding on an emergency call but they can be just as important. Here is a list of a few of them.

*Fire Prevention Office that provides inspections to industry that cannot be overlooked in preventing fires and promoting a safer work place. It assists the local school district with Fire and Tornado Drills. It Provides Fire Safety information year round which culminates every October during Fire Prevention Week.

*CPR Training is provided to local industry, residents, students and staff of Cuyahoga Heights School.

*Annual Smoke Detector/Battery Program is provided to the residents during the month of October.

*Department Training and equipment in many special rescue areas such as water, rope etc. is maintained.

*Planning and Participation in training and disaster drills.
