The
Cuyahoga Heights Fire Department has been in existence
since the 1920’s. It was originally housed in a small
building across the street and east of its current location
on Grant Avenue. In fact the original location is now part
of I-77. Since 1943 it has been located just west of I-77
in a beautiful and very traditional looking Fire House.
At one time it also housed the Police Department and jail.
